The alert profile is to send alerts at your convince, where you can set when you want the alerts to get triggered. based on the "Condition" set under Alert Profile settings.
You can find the "Alert Profile". Under "Settings".
Click on "Alert Profile" and you can add custom alerts.
Click on "Add New" to add a new custom alert.
Select the "Subscription Type" whether Lifetime, Trial, or Subscription.
Alert Name You can enter the name for your alert name.
Enter the Time period: You can select the number of days, week, or month you want the alert to be received.
From the drop-down, You can select Day, Week, Month.
Time: Set the time you want the receive the alerts.
Time-Zone: Set the time zone where you belong from.
Condition: This is the important dropdown, based on your condition set you will be receiving the alerts.
a. Before due date: You will receive the Subscription alert before your subscription renewal date.
b. Before Refund date: You will receive the Refund alert before the end of your refund duration of the product.
c. All: If you want to receive both "Before Refund date" and "Before Due Date" alerts you can select "All" from the drop-down.
Alert option : From the given option you can now select on how would you like to receive the alert , if via email then check the "Email" option , if via from "Browser" then click on "Browser" option .
Alert Type: If you want to use your custom alert as default, then enable the toggle.
Once you have set the profile you can click on the "Add" button, your Alert profile will be added.
Toggle: You can toggle to make it Default else you can keep it as it is if you don't want that particular alert to be set as default.
Point 4 & 5 works something like this, in the above image the Time period is 2 days, which means I would be receiving an alert before 2 days, Based on what condition I have set. if I have set "Before refund date " I would receive the notification of refund before 2 days of the actual refund date. Similarly for "Before Due date."
Once you have added your alert profile for Subscription Products and for Lifetime you can see the list below.
Name: You can see the alert names that you have added.
Condition: Based on what you want to receive the alert Before Due Date, Before Refund date or All will be shown here for the alerts you have added.
Subscription Type: is the Type you select when you create an alert. whether Lifetime or Subscription.
The Number of days: these are the number of days you have set while creating the alert under the Time period.
Default field: You can set one Default of each Type, You can not set 2 defaults for Type "Subscription". Likewise for Lifetime, 2 Types of Lifetime can not be the default. One for each Type.
Actions: you can delete the alert if no longer in use. You won't be able to delete the alert profile that has a reference to a sub that you have added.
All the fields are editable under the Alert profile.
